Maintain regular office hours to provide student support.  Duty: approximately every 4th night and every 4th weekend.  Some summer work may be available. Other duties as assigned by the Coordinator and Director. Bachelor&apos;s degree plus 1 year of Residence life and/or student leadership experience.</description>

      <description>The Assistant Dean of the College of Education (COE) serves as the leader on internal and external assessments and accreditation, issues of Undergraduate Education, the Advising Center, and coordinating IT support for the college to include the following:
Assessment and Accreditation: Support and oversee the work of all assessment and accreditation processes including the assessment of students, program outcomes, continuous improvement, and transformative initiative.  Ensure continued compliance with specific accreditation and licensing requirements and professional programs, with specific focus on NCATE. Manage multiple databases, conduct analyses and compile reports on varied and complex material and outcomes, and communicate aggregated/disaggregated data necessary for decision-making in a timely manner. Manage the assessment process and provide assistance in reporting initiatives as requested by Provost and Institutional Research.  Work with faculty and staff to support a climate of assessment and data-driven continuous improvement to our programs and unit operations.
Undergraduate Education: Oversee and monitor the Teacher Education Program, regarding admission to the program, provides ongoing oversight of the licensure/certification policies, programs, and requirements. Oversees disposition review process, ensures state, federal laws and policies/regulations are implemented consistent with their intent. Oversees academic advisement, articulation; emphasizing 2+2 programs and community colleges, undergraduate retention and graduation. Successful candidate plans, monitors, evaluates recruitment success, quality of life, program quality, academic integrity, and enrollment targets with chairs.  Reviews/acts on student petitions for exceptions to state/federal laws, policies or regulations. Provides leadership and oversight for all policies and procedures related to curricula. Collaborates across departments, colleges, and universities on projects supporting COE academic success and development. Liaise with University Curriculum Committee on compliance for course content. Coordinates Teacher Education Committee meetings and attends Executive Leadership Council meetings.
Advising Center: Manages all operational aspects and provides strategic direction, including training and evaluations of advisors, and collaboration with faculty advisors to facilitate meaningful mentoring/advising relationships with students. Manages advising resources to best advantage. Establishes and implements organizational goals, strategies, policies, and procedures.  Manages the creation and/or update of advising center website, faculty/staff advising handbook, student advising workbook, academic advising brochures, degree requirement summaries, and annual report. Works with Office of Enrollment Management and Director of Orientation to plan and implement SOAR in the COE. Facilitates effective communication between the advising center and other departments and offices within the COE and beyond. All candidates will be evaluated in terms of how well the combination of their education and work experience have prepared them to perform all of the requirements of the position.
PhD in Education or related degree from accredited university.
Demonstrated expertise with web-based data management and assessment systems including liaising between university and system constituents, coordinating data transfer and upload, facilitating unit implementation, and leading training for users.
Ability to conduct advanced statistical analysis of data from initial design, collection, nuanced analysis, representation, interpretation, and presentation to relative constituents. 
Documented experience in all aspects of national accreditation processes including directing data collection, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, preparing necessary documents, communicating details of the process to relevant stakeholders, communicating directly with accrediting agency leaders, and NCATE&apos;s Transformation Initiative. 
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional and cooperative working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, and colleagues outside the COE.
Documented experience working as a licensed teacher in and partnering with P-12 schools.
Experience with grants and research including demonstrated ability to work with the Office of Research.
Experience with high impact programs such as service learning, learning communities, senior capstone courses, and undergraduate participation in research.
Leadership in local and state organizations.

Manage the maintenance of campus grounds, sidewalks and roadways, heavy equipment fleet, snow removal, and excavation for outdoor construction.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Direct the activities of the Grounds staff, supervisor, equipment operators, grounds workers, re-cycle, and mechanic.  Plan and schedule work to meet variations in weather conditions.  Assign workforce to meet varying season workloads.  Interview, hire, appraise, and discipline as required.  Optimize utilization of staff and outside contractors.  Develop and implement training programs for safety and work techniques.  Establish written work procedures.  Provide technical innovation for Grounds maintenance and emergency response.  Write specifications and standards.  Develop and standardize road and walk maintenance techniques.  Develop contingency plans and organize emergency response for snow removal, floods, waste spills, sewer blockages, equipment failures, utility excavations, etc.  Coordinate major landscape improvement projects from inception to implementation.  Develop schedules and environmental controls for grounds pest and weed control.  Select, order, direct installation of site plantings and materials to enhance campus grounds.  Develop working relationship with campus faculty specialists in areas of roadway management, pest control, plantings and materials, turfgrass management.  Provide support for excavation projects.  Develop and control cost estimates for construction and landscape projects.  Research new materials and techniques.  Establish, promulgate and enforce Grounds policy for the campus.  Be familiar with and interpret environmental regulations and policies.  Pursue funding and material resources for Grounds operations.  Specify, select, and recommend purchase of: equipment, mowers, trucks, etc.
Develop and manage budgets allocations.  Inventory control for all Grounds and construction materials.  Other duties as assigned.  Normal work hours are 7a-3:30p. Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, horticulture, forestry, agricultural engineering, or related field. Five years experience in direct supervision and management of no less than 10 grounds personnel and other landscape personnel in techniques for landscaping, maintenance of grounds, roadways and equipment.  Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. Turf management experience.  Strong interpersonal skills.</description>

During the workshops the resident may be able to take part in the workshop on a space available basis, or pursue their own work while also being available for the visiting instructor.

Includes occasional teaching duties during faculty absence.  Resident will periodically give appropriate class demonstrations and/or participate in class discussions, mid-term and final critiques. In exchange for compensation, the resident may also have the opportunity to teach workshops and academic classes in glass or foundations and conduct outreach demonstrations. The resident must produce a significant body of studio work while showing a high level of technical expertise and aesthetic merit.  In consultation with the department head, expectations of the AIR&apos;s studio work will be reviewed after arrival.

Residence in Craft Center housing is a required condition of studio residencies.       <description>TTU Internal Search-This is a 9-month position with a supplemental teaching/administrative contract for summer. 
Provide direction, coordination, and development of the School of Human Ecology and all programs sponsored by the School of Human Ecology.  Prepare and defend the annual budget, develop fee structures, and new position and new initiative requests along with oversight of other operational activities related to the undergraduate and graduate programs within the School of Human Ecology.  Work with the faculty of the School of Human Ecology to keep the curriculum relevant and current to meet accreditation standards.  Recruit, retain, and evaluate faculty and staff.  Aid and support the acquisition of additional resources to fulfill the mission and goals of the School of Human Ecology. Create and manage external councils, including a School of Human Ecology Development Council.  Effectively communicate program needs to university administration and the public.  Support innovative teaching methods and faculty development.  Facilitate development of contractual agreements between the School of Human Ecology and state, clinical, and professional agencies. Foster a positive image of the School of Human Ecology among agencies, professional organizations and groups as well as the local community.  Promote liaisons with appropriate local, state, and national agencies and organizations.  Foster collaboration among university units. Teach within the undergraduate and graduate programs and advise student organizations when needed and as administrative duties allow.  Performs other duties as assigned. A doctoral degree within Family &amp; Consumer Sciences or Human Ecology or a related degree with at least one degree in Family &amp; Consumer Sciences or Human Ecology.  Candidate must meet the requirements for tenure and rank of associate professor or higher in the School of Human Ecology.  Educational preparation or experience in teaching and learning principles including curriculum development and administration.  Minimum of three years full-time teaching experience in an accredited School of Human Ecology or Family and Consumer Sciences.  Experience with accreditation, self-study process, program evaluation, standardized testing, licensure requirements and student leadership development.  Knowledge of AAFCS accrediting standards and membership in AAFCS.  A successful and productive history of teaching, service, and scholarship at the baccalaureate level with evidence of skill in interpersonal communication, good character, mature attitude, and professional integrity.</description>

      <description>The Assistant Director assists in all administration aspects of the annual grant cycle, including annual renewal, project budgeting, endorsement, activation, and reporting to grant agency. The primary function of the position is to conduct business and technology counseling for start-up and existing business clients; counseling will be conducted in the office, on-site at client&apos;s place of business, and via online counseling services (i.e. Skype, email, etc).  Conduct seminars on business-related topics such as accounting, business startup requirements, business planning, marketing, and business technologies. Responsible for community outreach on behalf of the Center, which includes monthly meetings with bankers, legislators and various professional organizations. 

Position requires total and complete confidentiality of any and all client information on behalf of the candidate. Travel regularly to various sites within the nine-county service area of the TTU TSBDC Center. 

Work hours vary from week to week, but late evening and weekend work is required several times a month. Bachelor&apos;s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with emphasis in business, finance, management information systems or other business-related discipline.  Must be proficient in recent versions of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Minimum two years&apos; work experience in an on-going business or industry. Working knowledge of general business concepts and principles, including management, marketing, budgeting, finance, business technology, and innovation. Must be proficient in online communications networks, online customer service and training methods, web-based database management processes, online video and audio conferencing techniques and software, public speaking and presentation software, and online marketing methods including social media platforms and website design and maintenance.</description>

      <description>Increase the College&apos;s research stature and funding by developing and implementing strategies such as: cultivating partnerships with potential research sponsors; working with Associate VP for Research in contacting Federal funding agencies, elected representatives and lobbyists; developing external and internal partnerships that lead to funding for larger strategic initiatives, especially  multi-million, multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary grants; coordinating programs to promote and recognize research and innovation activities within the College;  and attending relevant conferences and workshops to market the COE research expertise;  Provide direction and supervision to the College&apos;s two Centers of Excellence in Manufacturing Research and Energy Systems Research in such matters as annual budget preparation and spending, hiring and evaluation of staff, and research collaborations; and coordinate College&apos;s cost-sharing research investments with the Department Chairs and Center Directors  and with accountability from the investees; Assist the Departments in recruiting outstanding faculty in the College research focus areas with competitive start-up packages and facilities; assist new faculty through engagement and mentorship to establish successful research programs and submit significant research proposals (e.g., NSF CAREER); and lead College-wide efforts around research-related faculty development and mentoring programs; Guide the faculty in technology transfer and other entrepreneurial activities; Assist the Departments in the recruitment of high quality graduate students and oversee the administrative functions associated with the College&apos;s research and teaching assistantships and other research related student appointments; Conduct benchmarking with peer and aspirational peer institutions; Manage effective utilization of College space and facilities including allocation and renovation;
Maintain an appropriate level of personal teaching and research program. Earned doctorate in an engineering or computer science discipline closely related to one of the disciplines offered by the College of Engineering at TTU;  Qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Professor in one of the academic departments in the College; Experience in supervising the research of graduate students through the Ph.D.; A proven track record of externally-funded research and nationally-recognized scholarly achievement; A working knowledge of government and industrial funding sources; Proven ability to put together successful research teams and commitment to working collaboratively with people from  a diverse range of disciplines and groups;  Demonstrated commitment to affirmative action and equal opportunity; and Superior communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty, staff and administrators of the university and external constituents.</description>

Serves as an academic advisor for students, assists with student recruitment, and implements retention strategies for students.  Assists students in course choice and scheduling, and supplies information about University regulations and requirements.  Works with undecided majors to help them assess their interests and help them in selecting majors.  Provides career information and career counseling.  Teaches three  sections of University Success classes within load. Uses the University&apos;s campus-wide Banner Information System to track academic performance.  Identifies students with difficulties and directs students to proper resource programs. Meets with and provides information to prospective students and their parents.  Implements college recruiting strategies under the supervision of the Director of the Student Success Center.  Serves as liaison with advisors and faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences.  Develops advising materials specific to the Center.  Uses a variety of computer application packages to aid in the development of databases and statistical reports related to advisement.  Communicates with advisees on a regular basis.

26.25 hours per week, 11:15 - 4:30, M-F (schedule may vary during peak periods). A master&apos;s degree and experience with microcomputers and common software.</description>
